Rosary Babybonnets
Coursetia glandulosa
Rosary babybonnets is an airy desert legume shrub flushed in spring with cream-pink pea flowers, a nitrogen-fixer and a caterpillar host. Its twigs also carry a scale insect whose resin was gathered as Sonoran lac and used as a glue and sealant.
