Muhlenbergia glomerata

A distinctive, upright native grass of wet meadows, fens, and rocky cliffs. Features stiff, blue-green stems crowned by dense, bristly, purplish-green seed spikes in late summer. Highly adapted to cold, wet, alkaline soils, making it a specialty fen native.
