Feathery spires of starry white-to-pinkish flowers rise above heart-shaped, maple-like leaves in spring, giving the effect of bottle-brush foam over the forest floor. Spreads gently via stolons into a dense, weed-suppressing evergreen groundcover for cool, humus-rich shade.
