Large-flower False Rosemary

Conradina grandiflora

A Florida scrub endemic with needle-fine, intensely minty foliage and lipped lavender flowers spotted darker in the throat, carried through most of the year. Thrives on pure white sand and full glare where almost nothing else will, and releases its scent on the slightest touch. Rare in the wild as scrub habitat disappears.
