Riverbank Wild Rye
Elymus riparius

A tall, robust native grass that grows in dense clumps along stream banks and floodplains. Bears beautiful, arching, nodding seed spikes that resemble wheat, providing excellent bank stabilization and bird food. Prefers moist, sunny to partly shaded sites.
