Mountain Ninebark
Physocarpus monogynus
A compact, mounding shrub of rocky mountain slopes with rounded white-pink flower clusters, reddish seedheads, and peeling bark. Reliable fall color and easy in lean soil. Like other ninebarks it carries cyanogenic glycosides and is not a food plant.
