Fairybells
Prosartes trachycarpa
A Rocky Mountain woodlander with creamy bells tucked under the leaves in spring and, later, velvety orange-red berries that are the better display. Spreads slowly into loose colonies in coniferous shade. Formerly Disporum trachycarpum, and still often sold under that name.
