Downy Skullcap
Scutellaria incana
A tough and elegant woodland mint crowned with spikes of tubular, two-lipped lavender-blue flowers in mid-to-late summer. Named for the soft, downy hairs covering its square stems and leaf undersides. Extremely deer-resistant and excellent for shaded slopes.
