White Brodiaea
Triteleia hyacinthina
Flat-topped umbels of papery white flowers, each petal marked with a fine green midvein, stand on wiry stems above grassy foliage that withers as bloom begins. A bulb of seasonally wet western meadows, so it accepts spring moisture and demands a dry summer rest. Naturalises readily in unirrigated ground.
