Oklahoma Grass Pink Orchid
Calopogon oklahomensis
The prairie grass pink, split off from its bog-dwelling cousin and adapted to drier tallgrass ground. Blooms earlier, on a shorter stem, in colors from magenta to nearly white. A remnant-prairie species that is uncommon in the wild but does come from propagated stock.
